This AI Use and Output Disclosure explains how artificial intelligence may be used with ClearPoint Nexus products and what that means for customers and users. ClearPoint Nexus is a registered assumed name/trade name of ClearPointLogic LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. In this Disclosure, "ClearPoint Nexus," "Nexus," "CPN," "we," "us," and "our" refer to ClearPointLogic LLC doing business as ClearPoint Nexus.
Nexus Products May Enable AI-Generated Outputs Nexus products include skills, workflow packages, bundles, subscriptions, self-hosted agents, hosted agents, and related AI workflow assets. These products may help you generate content, analysis, summaries, recommendations, plans, code, reports, or other outputs using artificial intelligence. Depending on the product and your configuration, outputs may be generated by: - your own AI tool, model provider, runtime, or developer environment; - a third-party AI model provider selected by you or required by the product; - a self-hosted agent deployed in your own infrastructure; or - a hosted or managed Nexus service. For downloadable or self-hosted products, Nexus generally provides workflow assets or deployable packages, while your chosen AI provider, runtime, model, API key, and environment may generate the output. For hosted or managed products, Nexus or its service providers may process inputs as needed to provide the service.
AI-Generated Outputs Are Not Guaranteed AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and may vary between uses. Outputs may: - contain errors, inaccuracies, fabrications, or outdated information; - be incomplete or omit important context; - misinterpret instructions, source materials, or applicable facts; - be inappropriate for your specific business, technical, legal, regulatory, or professional context; - include biased, unsafe, or unsuitable recommendations; - depend on third-party model behavior outside Nexus's control; and - change over time as models, prompts, tools, APIs, or product versions change. Nexus does not warrant that any AI-generated output is accurate, complete, reliable, current, lawful, non-infringing, fit for purpose, or appropriate for any specific use.
You Are Responsible for Reviewing Outputs Before using any AI-generated output for any business, professional, public, regulated, or consequential purpose, you must: - review the output carefully for accuracy, completeness, and suitability; - verify the output against independent, authoritative, and current sources where appropriate; - apply your own professional judgment; - ensure the output complies with applicable law, regulation, policy, and professional obligations; - ensure the output does not infringe third-party rights or disclose confidential information; and - obtain appropriate human review before acting on or publishing the output. You are responsible for decisions made, actions taken, and materials published based on AI-generated outputs.
What AI Outputs Cannot Replace AI-generated outputs from or enabled by Nexus products must not be used as a substitute for: - professional legal advice from a licensed attorney; - professional medical, clinical, or healthcare advice from a licensed healthcare professional; - regulated financial, investment, insurance, accounting, or tax advice from a qualified professional; - safety-critical engineering, infrastructure, emergency-response, or operational decisions; - legally required human review in employment, credit, lending, housing, insurance, education, public benefits, immigration, criminal justice, or other consequential decisions; or - any professional service requiring a license, certification, regulated expertise, or context-specific judgment.
High-Risk Uses Require Extra Caution If you use outputs in connection with employment, personnel decisions, lending, credit, insurance, compliance, auditing, public communications, customer-facing advice, security-sensitive work, regulated industries, or automated or semi-automated decision systems, you must ensure that appropriate human review, testing, validation, monitoring, governance, and legal compliance measures are in place.
Third-Party AI Providers and Platforms Nexus products may depend on third-party AI model providers, developer tools, runtime environments, APIs, platforms, or open-source components. Those providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, usage limits, safety rules, data practices, retention settings, and output restrictions. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms and policies of any third-party tools, AI providers, infrastructure, or platforms you use with Nexus products. Nexus is not responsible for third-party model behavior, model availability, API changes, output quality, provider outages, provider data handling, or changes to third-party terms.
Self-Hosted and Customer-Controlled Environments For self-hosted products or products operated in your own environment, you are responsible for: - configuration and deployment; - API keys and model-provider accounts; - access controls and secrets management; - data security and retention; - backups and monitoring; - compliance with your own customer, employee, or third-party data obligations; and - validating outputs before use.
Nexus Is Not Responsible for Output Reliance To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nexus is not liable for any loss, harm, claim, or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs, including decisions made, actions taken, materials published, advice delivered, or business outcomes based on such outputs. The Customer Product & Service Terms contain additional disclaimers, warranty limitations, and liability limitations.
Reporting Output Issues If you encounter outputs that appear materially incorrect, harmful, unsafe, or inappropriate, contact us at: [email protected] Where appropriate, Nexus may use de-identified and aggregated product-quality information to improve product reliability, documentation, testing, and user guidance.
