What you'll need
These agents run in your environment. You keep control of the data, credentials, and review process; the items below help the package start cleanly.
ClearPoint Agent Manager
Required desktop app for activation, entitled payload download, setup, launch, support bundles, updates, and removal.
AI Provider API Key
Powers lead scoring and outreach drafts. Prospect supports Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini; provider usage is billed by your provider.
Slack Workspace + Bot Token
Elite tier only. Receives real-time lead notifications with approve / reject buttons that trigger the outreach-draft flow. Starter and Pro do not use Slack.
Review Process for Outreach Drafts
Elite can create copy-only outreach drafts after approval. Prospect Agent does not send prospect email for you.
Reddit Discovery (best effort)
Optional supplemental source. Reddit may block public or credentialed access, especially from cloud hosts. API access requires Reddit approval; commercial use also requires written permission. Credentials never guarantee access. If another source is enabled, Prospect continues with it; otherwise retry later or enable another source when your plan allows it.

License
Activation is handled by the Nexus License Server.
Your purchase includes a Nexus License Key.
The key confirms which agent and tier you purchased. During setup, ClearPoint Agent Manager activates against the Nexus License Server for your computer and downloads only the payload you are entitled to run. The agent then checks that activation before running. This keeps access tied to the buyer without sending workflow data to ClearPoint Nexus.

Questions teams ask before they deploy.
How does the Nexus License Key work?
After purchase, the Nexus License Server issues a license key for your agent and tier. You paste that key into ClearPoint Agent Manager, and the app activates this machine, downloads only the entitled payload, and checks the license before running. If the key is missing, expired, revoked, or used on the wrong machine, the agent stops safely and explains what to fix.
What is included with a Premium Agent purchase?
You receive ClearPoint Agent Manager setup access, the entitled agent payload, tier-specific configuration, license activation flow, health check, troubleshooting tools, and customer documentation for the workflow you purchased.
Where do my data and credentials go?
The agent is designed to run where you install it. Your local files, source exports, provider keys, Slack tokens, and mailbox credentials stay under your control. When an AI provider is used, the agent sends only the workflow context needed for that step through the provider key you configure.
Can we change providers or models later?
Yes. Each package lists a recommended model for best performance and supported alternatives. You can update the provider key or model setting during setup or later if your team prefers a different supported provider.
